| CAPD team books 5 business establishments | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 6- Continuing its drive to ensure strict adherence to Essential Commodities Act, a joint team of Assistant Director (Enforcement Wing) headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and Area Inspectors of CAPD Department/Health Department, Legal Metrology Department conducted vigorous checking in Jammu city and challaned five business establishments for various violations.
Those challaned were M/S Nav Durga Sweet Shop, M/S Surya Milk Shop, M/S Sain Dass, Zaika Fast Food, M/S Pargal Cheese Corner, M/S Surya Milk Product and M/S Chik N Chilli the five defaulters and fiend them of Rs.6500 under the violation of EC Act 1955.
The fruit and vegetables retail sellers, Milk and cheese sellers were directed to display price list at their shops and not to indulge in overcharging from the consumers and to avoid use of domestic LPG cylinders falling which action under law will be initiated against the defaulters.
