JKNPP calls for constituting delimitation commission | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has appealed congress leadership and state government to fulfill commitments made during election campaign and constitute delimitation commission for removing discrimination with Jammu region. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that activists from different political parties joined JKNPP under the chairmanship of MLA and state president Balwant Singh Mankotia. While addressing party workers, Mankotia said that it is only JKNPP which is fighting for the cause of Jammu since 1982. He appreciated role of Chairman JKNPP Bhim Singh who is fighting case of delimitation in Supreme Court to provide equitable share of Assembly seats to both the regions. Mankotia said that Jammu and Kashmir government has failed to provide justice to all regions of the state especially commitments made by Congress leadership during 2008 assembly elections regarding constitution of delimitation commission. He appealed Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh to ask congress leadership and state government to fulfill commitments made during 2008 Assembly elections campaign and constitute delimitation commission to remove discrimination with the Jammu region. Prominent among them who jointed JKNPP included Vinod Vaid, Sanjay Kumar, Ashu Tosh, Pankaj Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Sohan Singh, Parkash Singh, Sohan Singh, Vijay Sharma, Vinay Sharma, Akash Kumar, Thakar Singh., Ravi Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Ajay Singh, Parveen, Vishal Kumar, Vicky, Sanjay Singh, Bushal Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Raj Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Vijay Kumar and Madan Lal.
