UPA govt toeing separatist agenda: JSM
11/7/2010 12:43:55 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 6: Congress-led UPA government has decided to toe line of Pakistan sponsored separatists and make mockery of might of Indian state and resolve of the Indian Parliament; rather than taking a firm action against them.
In a handout issued here today, Jammu State Morcha (JSM) Vice-President and Spokesperson Captain Anil Gour said that statements of Union Home Minister and Interlocutors along-with subsequent events unfolded in past few days of releasing people detained under PSA and allowing separatists to hold press conferences to make seditious statements confirm that Congress-led UPA government has decided to toe the line of the Pakistan sponsored separatists.
Interlocutors along-with the J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have started speaking the language of separatists and militants asking for settlement of Kashmir problem as per wishes and aspirations of people in accordance with UN Resolution 47 of 27 April 1948, added Gour. JSM criticized double standards as neither Congress-led UPA government, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Union Home Minister and appointed Interlocutors; nor the separatist do even the NC or PDP leaders raise their voice against Pakistan, which has already been declared the aggressor.
JSM appealed all the citizens of Jammu Province to come together and observe complete Bandh on November 8, 2010 to register their protest against this injustice. Others who were present in the press conference included Chandra Uday Sharma, Surjit Singh, Vijay Sharma and Mukesh Raina.
