HRW concerned over J&K problems | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch (JKHRW) has expressed serious concern over the problems being faced by people of Jammu and Kashmir especially the government employees. In a handout issued here today, state chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch (JKHRW) B.L.Kapoor has taken serious note of ongoing prolonged protests and Dharnas by people of Jammu region. He said that Doda migrants have been on protests for last four years demanding status at par with Kashimiri Migrants. He maintained that diploma holders have been on protest demanding jobs in government departments for years together. Kapoor stressed that home guard constables have been demanding regularization in service and launching agitation for years together. Kapoor said that profit making corporations are not allowed to disburse arrears of 6th pay commission from their own resources. Demands of Kashmiri Pandits who have been rehabilitated in Jammu region towards encroachment of land pertaining to temples in Kashmir valley as per demand to take stern action against encroachers well in time, said Kapoor. He further said that government needs to be cautious enough to deal with unrest.
