| Dr Sanjogita accompanies Asian boxing team | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, November 07: Assistant Surgeon at Government Accidental Hospital, Vijaypur and sports medicine specialist, Dr Sanjogita Soodan has accompanied the Indian women’s boxing team to Asian Games as doctor.
Her nomination was made by Indian Boxing Federation considering her credentials as doctor with Indian teams as different level of competitions during all these years.
She will depart for the venue in Guangzhou in China from New Delhi tomorrow. “This will be in national interest as women’s boxing has been included as an event at the London Olympic Games 2012 and hence it will be of utmost importance for India that Dr Sanjogita Soodan attends this prestigious Asian Games,” a request letter to Director Heath Services, J&K by the Federation mentioned.
Her last assignment being International Technical Official (ITO) in Asian Women’s Boxing Championship held at Astana Kazakhstan in May last.
