BJP rejects US intervention | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has out rightly rejected American interference in resolving problems being faced by people of India especially Pakistan sponsored cross-border terrorism These observations were made by leader of BJP Legislators Party Chaman Lal Gupta while addressing meetings of party activists of Jammu West Assembly Constituency. These meetings were organized in connection with preparations of proposed Jammu Bandh on November 8 against the controversial speech of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah coupled with confusing statements of ruling leaders of the Congress at the centre. Gupta said that like other countries, America is obviously looking its own interests. Lashing upon coalition government especially Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Gupta alleged that he has been trying to fish in troubled waters to achieve his party’s goal of semi-secessionism, enshrined in their slogans of Autonomy. He appealed people to contribute their might in fighting menace of secessionism, terrorism and also the regional discrimination being perpetrated by Congress-National Conference coalition Gupta also impressed upon the people to observe complete Bandh to demonstrate their disapproval of government policies.
