CEO XI wins by 22 runs in weekend cricket

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, November 07: The CEO XI defeated Call Centre XI by 22 runs in the Weekend Triangular Cricket Cup, organised by Simula Global Group at Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy, here today.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, CEO XI set a target of 233 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 25 overs. Skipper, Hilal Rather played quick rife innings of 41-ball 70 runs studded with four sixes and seven boundaries. Nasir Amin, R P Singh and Ashwani contributed 40, 37 and 27 runs respectively. From Call Centre XI, Muzzaffar Ramzan, Hilal and Robin shared two wickets each.
Later, chasing the target, Call Centre XI, bowled out for 211 runs in 24.4 overs. Robin was top scorer with 51 runs while Muzzaffar Ramzan (43) and Amrit (29) were other main contributors. From CEO XI, Hilal Rather claimed four wickets, followed by Ali and R P Singh, who took three and two wickets each.
For his all round performance, Hilal Rather was adjudged man of the match.
