| ‘Demands action against father-daughter duo’ | | PRM rejects self- rule idea; organize protest demonstration, burn Mufti’s effigy | | JAMMU NOV 02-STRONGLY denouncing the Self Rule’ idea mooted by PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayed, Peoples Revolutionary Movement (PRM) today organized a massive protest demonstration, burnt the effigy of Mufti Sayed and demanded stern action against him and his party. Taking serious note of the continuous venomous propaganda and conspiracy hatched by PDP to disintegrate the nation, PRM came down heavily on the Congress for its weak and fragile policies towards terrorists and anti-nation elements. ‘Mufti Sayed is an anti-national and more dangerous even than the terrorists and other secessionists operating in Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere,’ observed PRM. Addressing the gathering, the PRM leader Rajinder Jamwal accused Mufti and his daughter Mehbooa for their anti-national campaign, which amounts to sedition and demanded immediate action againt the father-daughter duo so as to nip the evil in the bud. ‘Initiating a debate on self-rule or autonomy which talks of loosing sovereignty of India over Jammu and Kashmir’, Jamwal said ‘it is nothing but an abuse to those who by their valour and vision expanded and consolidated the boundaries of Jammu and Kashmir and India’. Issuing strong warning to these anti- national elements, Jamwal snubbed them to desist from their mischievous activities and cautioned the general masses, especially the youth, to get united, come forward and foil the nefarious designs of these miscreants who are hell bent to destroy our national integrity and sovereignty. While echoing their concern over the terrorist activities and menace of terror which has spread its tentacles across the nation, Sonu Sharma, Rajinder Singh Manna and Varinder Slathia said that casual and unplanned approach to deal with the terrorists, their sympathizers, harbors and propagators would be disastrous and nation will have to pay the price for it. ‘Out-rightly rejecting any move of government or any other group to grant Autonomy or Self-Rule to Jammu and Kashmir’, PRM leaders maintained that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of India and no body talking of going out of it would be taken to task adding that nothing less than ‘re organization of Jammu and Kashmir with Jammu State ranging between Ravi and Peer Panjal’ would be acceptable to the people of the state. Others who also spoke included Naveen Sharma, Sanjay Slathia, Deepu Chib, Jaswant Singh, Kuku Baglay, Tonney and Vikey.
