| BJP fails to deliver as oppn party: NC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 7: National Conference has taken serious exception to the nexus between BJP-Hurriyat Conference-PDP in the state.
On the one hand Hurriyat Conference and PDP are calling and supporting bandhs in Kashmir and on the other hand BJP is calling for bandh in Jammu, said NC leader, MLC and spokesman of the party Ajay Sadhotra, while addressing a public meeting at Bagh-Bain (Gole Gujral) today.
He alleged that BJP has failed to deliver as opposition party. BJP has betrayed the confidence of the people of Jammu, he asserted and further said now in order to cover up their failures they have made a nexus and resorting of bandhs. He said people of state especially Jammu have a bitter experience of bandhs during Amarnath Land row due to this Nexus, resulting in hatred between Jammu/Kashmir region and putting people of the state to great loss and biggest ever set back to developmental activities in the state.
He, however, appealed to the people of Jammu to frustrate the evil designs of this nexus and their attempt to observe bandh on the opening day of Durbar move.
. Sadhotra also appealed to the youth to strengthen the hands of. Omar Abdullah, as Chief Minister’s main thrust is to address the serious problem of unemployment among youth of the state.
