JAMMU, Nov 8: The PHE Employees Welfare Association and All J&K PHE Employees Union was held jointly under the chairmanship of Om Parkash Sharma, President, PHE Employees Welfare Association.
The meeting expressed concern over the pick and choose policy of the PHE Department for giving retirement benefits to the retired employees. It has been seen that those who retired later have been given the retirement benefits but those who retired earlier have been ignored.
This was condemned by Om Parkash Sharma, Munir Ahmed, and other leaders.
Later, the leaders met the departmental officers but none was available. They also submitted an application to the Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Jammu and Executive Engineer, PHE Mech. Div. South, Jammu .
Others who spoke on the occasion included Mohan Lal, Robin Bhatt, Channan Dev. Khairati Lal, Asha Ram, Jagdev Singh, Chaman Lal, Thoru Ram, Sham Lal, Rajesh Sharma, Satpal Singh.
