| Sham directs officers to make judicious use of funds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 8: MINISTER for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, Sham Lal Sharma has said that the government is determined to give good governance to the people of the State through a well-knit programme formulated for the purpose. He said that during the past two years, a massive development has taken place in all sectors and people are perceiving the change on ground.
The Minister was addressing a largely attended public meeting at Akhnoor today.
Sharma directed the officers to attend people’s problems on priority and involve them while carrying out the developmental activates in their areas. He asked them to ensure judicious utilization of funds and observe norms in letter and spirit while executing various schemes. Violation of norms will not be tolerated at any cost and anyone found defying the same will be punished appropriately, the Minister cautioned.
The Minister directed the SDM, Akhnoor to ensure displaying of signboards in the premises of every office within a period of ten days, indicating the programmes and policies being undertaken by them for the information of general masses. He also directed him to keep an eye on the quality of works on different projects under execution in Akhnoor Constituency.
For creating awareness among the masses about various Centrally Sponsored Schemes in Akhnoor block, the Minister said that a mega programme will be organised shortly.
Responding to the demands of people, Minister said that adequate quantity of seed and fertilizer will be made available in Akhnoor. SDM, Akhnoor Ashok Kumar Sharma and all sectoral officers were present on the occasion. |
