NC led regime has become ‘non-performing’ liability: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 8: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said the National Conference led Coalition Government stands exposed for its non-performance and there are no takers for its hollow slogans now. Addressing a public meeting at Nagrota, PDP vice president and former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa alleged that NC led regime has become a “non performing liability” on the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “The NC led government has reneged on almost all the promises made with the people during electioneering and the Coalition Government run by them seems to be a rudderless arrangement lacking direction and commitment,” he said. Reminding Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of the commitments made by him during electioneering, he said that the people want to know where is the much-talked about recruitment for 8th pass in police? He pointed out it is an historical fact NC has always befooled the people by raking up one and other issue. Lambasting State Government for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses, he said that miseries of the people have been increased manifold after formation of this regime which was formed with out any programme and policy. “Instead of solving basic problems of the common masses both leaders of National Conference have been befooling the people by making false promises”, he said. Speaking on the occasion, PDP leader and ex-MLC Ved Mahajan said that present dispensation was one of the most corrupt and anti-people regime of the State. He said that the present government has been repeating the same blunders which were committed by the previous National Conference regime from 1996 to 2002. In his address, PDP district president for Jammu rural, Suram Singh said that this regime has been adopting anti-farmers policies and not in solving their problems. He maintained that since formation of National Conference led regime has not taken even a single step for mitigating miseries of the common masses. “What to say of solving problems of the people this regime has further compounding woes of the people due to its wrong policies”, he observed.
