| IAF chopper crashes in Ladakh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 8: An Air Force helicopter today crashed in the icy heights of Siachin, resulting in injuries to two pilots on board.The helicopter was on routine flight to the Siachin glacier when the incident occured, defence sources said.
"The Cheetah helicopter crashed at 11 am while on a flight to the icy heights of Siachen," the sources added.Both the pilots were injured in the crash and immediately evacuated to Leh hospital for treatment.
Sources said though the condition of both the pilots, whose identity was not disclosed, was reported to be stable, they had been referred to Delhi for treatment, the sources added. |
