| New office accommodation for R. S.Pura Sub-Division | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 9: Jammu and Kashmir government will renovate office complex of SDM and construct new complex for accommodation of different sub-divisional offices at R. S. Pura. Accordingly Executive Engineers R & B would formulate DPR for the project within a week.
This was announced by Minister for Medical Education R.S.Chib and Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla while chairing jointly meeting of sub-divisional offices at R. S. Pura near here. Chib asked the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to expedite survey of hail -storm affected farmers in the sub- division so that their compensation is worked out for payment.
Ministers directed revenue and other concerned authorities to take up spadework of 4-laning of Jammu-Suchetgarh road on priority, emphasising upon its importance in the promotion of border tourism. They also assured to take up the matter with the higher authorities for exploring ways and means for the project. Ministers impressed upon the officers to work with more dedication and address day-to-day problems of the people especially those inhabiting the zero line.
