| BJP calls for Jammu bandh | | | Jammu,November 03 : The state unit of the Bharatiya Janta Party on Friday gave a call for Jammu bandh on the first day of the opening of the Durbar move offices on November 6 to protest against the alleged negative attitude of the Congress led coalition government towards the non-muslim minorities and highlight the total neglect of Jammu province by the coalition government on all fronts. Addressing a press conference here at the party headquarters BJP state Vice President and spokesman Prof Hari Om appealed to the people of Jammu to observe a complete shut down on November 6. He said BJP is also supporting call for Jammu bandh given by Refugees from West Pakistan. He said that the congress lead coalition government is a militant friendly government and is pursuing policies aimed at giving communal orientation to the state. Prof Hari Om said the coalition partners congress, PDP and the oppostion National Conference are hand-in glove with the separatists, representing Pakistan in the state and working for the establishment of Nizam-e-Mustafa under which the plight of the non-muslim minorities in the state would be worse than that of the Mohajirs,Hindus,Christians,Sikhs,shite muslims,Ahemdis and similar other religious minorities in the theocratic and despotic Pakistan. |
