| BSF School excels in athletics | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, November 10: The BSF Senior Secondary School Paloura here excelled by securing overall championship trophy in girls section in the recently held ‘Sahodaya Vidyalaya Athletic Meet’ at Sainik School Nagrota, near here.
Anupama of class 10th bagged three gold and one bronze medal thus helped the school to lift the glittering trophy.
As also Rakesh Roshan, a class 10th student of the school bagged three gold and two silver medals in boys section. He was declared as Best Athlete of the Meet. Munish Raina, again a class 10th student, clinched two gold and one silver medal.
In boys U-17 category, BSF School won five gold, four silver and four bronze medals while girls of the same age group won four gold, five silver and one bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Principal of the School, Dr S S Khokhar has appreciated the young athletes of the school for bringing laurels to the institution. He also lauded the under-17 girls for lifting the coveted overall championship trophy.
