JKHRW commend police actions in declining crime graph | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov. 10: The state chairman J&K Human Rights Watch, B.L.Kapoor in a statement issued here today said that the JK Police under the administrative control of Ashok Gupta IGP Jammu zone has done commendable action in declining crime ratio in jammu region. Kapoor said that crime graph has been declining repeatedly which is appreciable. The IGP Jammu Zone Gupta is very keen to apprehend the drug smugglers, militancy related elements, etc in Jammu division, it said. It is pertinent to mention that SSP Kathua Gareeb Dass has been doing very well to apprehend the drug smugglers who are from Punjab and supplying drugs to the state of J&K especially in Jammu region for youth. Besides this SSP Rajouri has been doing very well & the crime graph has been declined there. SSP Jammu and all subordinate staff has been doing very well resulting control over militancy, etc. It also has commended actions of SP North Randeep Kumar wherein a large number of stolen goods were recovered and the theives arrested also in the area like Jammu north where the encroachment of land and other crimes were on top has been mostly controlled by his sincere efforts. The imposing of Public Safety Act (PSA) by the police is appreciable step through which the culprits may not dare to act unlawfully. Kapoor further said that the crime graph only can decline when police sincerely swing into action.
