| MIET celebrates Vishwakarma Day | | |

Jammu, Nov. 10: “Vishwakarma Day” was celebrated with full traditional fervour and gaiety at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
Prayers of lord Vishwakarma was done today by the Mechanical Engineering Department of the institute. On the occasion all the teaching and technical staff of the Deptt, Bharat B Mehmi HOD, Vipin Chander Nitin Verma, Varun Koul, Ashutosh Raina, SanjaySharma lecturers were present.
The function was held in Mechanical Workshop of the institute. The Principal S.K.Sharma, AS Bali HOD Chemistry and Satish Gupta AO performed the pooja of Lord Vishwakarma in accordance to the traditions.
S.K. Sharma prayed for the well wishes of all, paid thanks to lord vishwakarma and prayed for their blessings to all.
He threw light on importance of Vishwakarma Day. Later the sweets were distributed to all the institute staff members.
