Army chips in for improving educational facilities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov. 10: Continuing the Tithwal Brigade’s drive for improvement of educational facilities in its area of responsibility, desks and benches were distributed by 33 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion on to five Govt Schools in the remote areas of the Nowshera tehsil under Op Sadbhavana. The beneficiary schools are Govt Primary Schools, Potha, Mela Thus, Guni, Jabah and Govt Middle School , Panori. In addition a medical camp was also organized wherein students and villagers were attended by the Unit Medical Officer. An enthralling cultural programme was also presented by the students to mark the event. Brigadier AK Bhatt in his address impressed upon the people and the students to be progressive in their approach and cooperate with the army in its efforts towards the development of the society. Promising to continue such efforts, he encouraged the children to take advantage of facilities being provided for their personality development. He also exhorted the students to come forward and present their ideas to spread the message of peace and development in the society at large.
