He said that in a bid to inculcate a habit of better education and to make village students tech-savvy, Crossed Swords Division donated four computers along with accessories, including educational CDs to the Government High School Kathar in Akhnoor tehsil of this winter capital. ‘’The computers were donated where the school children were craving for computer aided learning for a long time,’’ the spokesman added in a statement issued here. Meanwhile village Sarpanch, Hari Ram lauded the Army’s role for raising the infrastructure to provide quality education to the students of a small village so that they also compete with the outer world. However, the School Principal, Kuldeep Raj has thanked the Army for the gesture and the villagers appreciated the force for time to time providing basic facilities at their doorsteps.
