| Farmers delegates meet BJP MLA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 10: A delegation comprising a large number of farmers of different villages of Udhampur constituency today called on BJP state vice-pesident Pawan Gupta & apprised him of various problems being faced by them.
They said that for the last many days, there is an acute shortage of seeds in the market due to which they have to face a lot of difficulties. The farmers said that in this regard, they approached the concerned authorities a number of times but there also, they didn't get anything except false promises. Pawan Gupta patiently listened to the problems of poor farmers & immediately called on Director, Agriculture Department & sought early redressal of this problem being faced by the farmers.
The Director Agriculture assured Pawan Gupta that he will personally look into this matter & within couple of days and the problem of the farmers will be solved
