Hiranagar, Nov 10: Flaying NC led coalition regime for its failure to solve basic problems of the masses, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that this dispensation has deceived people of the State by making false promisesAddressing series of public meetings in Kandi areas of Hiranagar tehsil, PDP general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh rued that instead of addressing grievances of the people, this regime has been indulged into farcical practices to hoodwink the masses. “Residents of all regions of the state have been struggling to get basic amenities like power and ration but the government seems to be non serious in solving such day today problem”, he said and especially mentioned failure of the authorities to solve problems of the inhabitants of Kandi areas.Exhorting the party workers to expose misdeeds of this regime, he regretted that NC has not learnt any lessons from its past mistake and repeating the previous blunders.Listing the promises made by ruling NC with the people during last assembly elections, he regretted that government has deceived the people as promises made with them remained only on papers.Pointing towards increasing problems of the people he said that, “state has been gripped with unprecedented crises due to non availability of ration in the government runs depots coupled with the unscheduled power curtailments”,Thakur Balbir Singh lambasted the ruling NC for changing colours for the lust of power. “NC is responsible for the miseries of people of Jammu and Kashmir as this party has always bartered interests of the state for the lust of power”, he said.
