RSS holds protest against alleged implication of its leaders in anti-national activities. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 10: The J&K chapter of Rashtriya Swayamsevek Sangh (RSS) on Wednesday held demonstration here in response to the nation-wide protest call against alleged implication of its leaders in anti-national activities. Holding placards, large number of activists led by RSS state pracharak (in charge) Brigadier Suchet Singh (retired) raised slogans against Central government and the Congress for implicating RSS in “non-issues”. Speaking on the occasion, Suchet Singh said, “It is sad on the part of central government that it stands helpless in front of the Naxallites and separatists in J&K but becomes overzealous in harassing nationalist organization like RSS”. He alleged, “The UPA Government at Centre is trying to create controversy by implicating RSS in non-issues”. Singh said, “We are certain that the present conspiracy to defame the RSS and Hindu movement too will meet the same fate and the conspirators will pay the price for their evil intentions”. He warned the government that it should desist from its designs in the interest of larger national unity and social harmony. The RSS leaders also submitted memorandum to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh through Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
