| Distt level Science exhibition commenced | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 10: A two-day long 26th District level Science Exhibition organized by District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Jammu commenced today at Govt Girls High School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
As many as 109 Science models were displayed by the various schools of the Jammu District. Out of 109 Models 43 were from Higher Secondary Schools, 36 from Secondary classes and 30 from Elementary classes. The theme of the Exhibition is “Science and Technology for challenges in Life”.
The Director School of Education, Jammu, Zahida Khan inaugurated the Exhibition. She inspected the models displayed by the students and appreciated their scientific skill.
Speaking on the occasion, she impressed upon the students to develop the scientific temperament for progress and prosperity of the country in the present era of Science and Technology. She interacted with the students and teachers and eulogized the level of awareness among the students, especially about the role of Science and Technology as displayed by them through the models put up in the exhibition.
