| Ajaz Jan conducts extensive tour of Poonch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 10: MLA Poonch Aijaz Jan today conducted extensive tour of various parts of Poonch constituency.
During his visit, MLA listened to the people’s problems at their doorsteps and initiated process for their redressal at an earliest.
The people presented their charter of demands especially after the recent rains that have caused huge losses and put life out of the gear in the border district of Poonch.
He asserted that public comfort is the matter of prime importance and all officers should work with dedication for their redressal.
He also inspected the houses damaged at Bandi Chachi and Mandi Block due to recent rains that lashed the state last month causing heavy damage to crops.
Jan assured the sufferers for speeding up the issue of compensation at highest level. Tehsildar Poonch Nissar Shad was directed to forward the compensation cases in next four days.
BDO Poonch was directed by the legislator to emphasize woks under MNREGA so that people could seek employment in their localities in winters.
MLA also held a public darbar and meetings in all the PHCs of Poonch Block where he also listened to the grievances of public. He sanctioned two ambulances for Chandak and Poonch out of his Constituency Development Fund.
