| Two held for raping minor at Bari Brahmana | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 11:
Two youth were today arrested by police at Bari Brahmana near here for allegedly abducting a 12-year-old girl and then outraging her modesty.
After her abduction, the girl was allegedly kept by the youth in a deserted house at Dhiansar, Bari Brahmana, for two days and raped repeatedly.Police sources identified the accused as Mohammad Arif (28), son of Sarsudin, and Mushtaq Ahmad (30), son of Bashir Ahmad, both
residents of Dhiansar. Arif originally hails from Bihar.The girl went missing from her residence at Rajpura Kohlar, Bari Brahmana, Monday evening under mysterious circumstances.
Her father Gopal Dass, a labourer by profession, searched for her for two days, but when he could not get any clue to her whereabouts, he lodged a missing report with the Bari Brahmana police station.
Sources said as Gopal also continued searching for his daughter, he came across her roaming aimlessly in a secluded Dhiansar area last night. When the father recovered her, she was in a state of shock and wept inconsolably, the sources added.
Gopal brought her home and took her to the Bari Brahmana police station this morning. On her disclosure, police arrested Arif and Mushtaq from Dhiansar.They were booked under sections 376 and 363 of RPC. The girl was taken by police to hospital and got medically examined. She was later restored to her parents.
