| Plus 2 Lecturers Forum calls upon CM, discuss pending issues | | |

JAMMU, Nov 11:
A delegation of all J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum led by state president H D Quershi called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his official residence and discussed pending issues and demands.
The delegation apprised the Chief Minister of delay in implementing the decision of state cabinet dated March 29, 2010 for regularization of about 7000 incharge incumbents working in school education since 1998 onwards within a period of three months and appealed CM for personal intervention for implementation of decision which categorically stated that the state cabinet will go for ‘one time exception’ if the concerned agency fails in regularizing all the incharge incumbents within a specified period of three months.
The delegation also raised demands including benefits of running pattern, placement of cadre in Pay band 3, re-organization of department. The delegation also sought the consent of Chief Minister for the inaugural address in the proposed ‘National Level Education Conference’ in the 1st week of December 2010 for which Chief Minister fully agreed.
The Chief Minister after a comprehensive discussion on the issues assured the delegation that the decision taken by the cabinet will be implemented in true spirit.
Among others who accompanied the delegation included Charan Dass, Manmeet Bali, vice presidents, N S Jamwal general secretaries, Ashwani Sharma, chief organizer, Gurcharan Singh, B D Sharma, O P Katoch and Talib Hussain.
