NC-Cong more harmful than separatists, alleges Chaman
11/11/2010 11:57:17 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 11:

The leaders of the National Conference and that of Congress are causing more harm than separatists and agents of elements inimical to India by disputing the finality of Accession of the State and its being integral part of the country.
This was alleged by the leader of the BJP Legislators Party, Chaman Lal Gupta while addressing a meeting of two Mandals of his Jammu West Constituency here today.
He said the dubious statements of the leaders of the National Conference are highly intriguing but it was a strange situation that the Government leaders of the Congresses at the Centre did not see any thing objectionable in such highly controversial utterances of the State Chief Minister, in addition to they themselves are adopting confused postures instead of making it clear to all by their actions that Jammu and Kashmir is an irrevocable part of India and its future is not negotiable.
In this regard, Gupta particularly referred to the plight of the industrial sector and said that on one hand the Chief Minister and some others are inviting the industrialists to invest in this State and establish their units but on the contrary they are terming the State of Jammu and Kashmir as disputed.
He termed Article-370, as major impediment to the establishment of industrial sector as also in many other fields.
At the meeting certain activists linked with the trade pointed out that business of the traders has been badly affected because of the turmoil in the Valley of Kashmir and now the ruling leaders themselves have begun to term the future of this State as being disputed.
Gupta asked the activists to enlighten the masses about the communal and dangerous moves of the leaders of the Congress as also their fellowmen in the coalition.
