| Loran Bhatian get long pending bridge | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 12: MLA Poonch Ajaz Jan today inaugurated a footbridge over Grath Bhattian at village Loran. The Bridge was thrown open for public use thereby conceding a long pending demand of the residents of twin villages at Loran to Bhattia Loran.
The Connectivity between the two largest villages of Mandi Block has come as a bigger respite for the residents who had all the praises for the Legislator for speedy completion of project in a record time.
The Bridge has been constructed by public works Deptt. at a cost of Rs. 25 Lakhs. MLA during his address had all the appreciations for Executive Engineer, AEE and JE for the quality work of footbridge and that too in a record time. He lauded the role of PWD for coming up to the aspirations of general public.
Jan also laid foundation stone two room Ward for Labour Room & Ward at PHC Loran. Which has been constructed by public works department At a cost of Rs. 26.50 Lakhs.
He also inspected the ongoing works under NREGA and constituency development funds of MLA and listened to the public deputations on spot. Directions were issued to Block Development Officer Poonch. Deepak Dubay for executing & implementing MNREGA in its true spirit so that the living standard of people in this far flung area could be raised.
