| Table Tennis: PG enters semifinals | | | EARLY TIME REPORT
POONCH, November 12: In the ongoing inter-college table tennis competitions, the combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments today reached the semi-finals at Gymnasium Hall of the University of Jammu (JU), here.
Two other colleges, Government College for Women (GCW) Parade and Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) also have qualified for the semi-finals without playing even a single match, courtesy walkovers.
Earlier, PG Departments trounced GCW Gandhi Nagar 3-1 to reach the semifinals stages. Nidhi Arora played a key role in PG’s triumph winning her both the matches.
The Detailed Results: PG bt GCW Gandhi Nagar: Nidhi Arora bt Divya Bhogal 11-7, 11-7; Monika lost to Nitani 3-11, 3-11; Meenakshi bt Pooja Devi 11-7, 11-8. Reverse singles: Nidhi bt Nitani 11-9, 11-9.
