| Pinto Club to face Chandak in volleyball final | | | EARLY TIME REPORT
POONCH, November 12: Chandak Volleyball Club shall take on Pinto Club in the final of District Volleyball Championship, organised by District Volleyball Association, on November 15 at Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the second semi-final, played today, Chandak Club defeated Manjit Volleyball Club in straight sets. Pinto Club has already made it into the final beating Khanater Club yesterday.
Today’s semi-final was officiated by Bashir Ahmed (VFI referee), Neeraj Sharma, Rajinder Singh and Ram Parkash.
“The final was scheduled for today, but due to some engagements by players, the title clash has been shifted for November 15 at 3 pm. In the final and prize distribution function, SSP Poonch has consented to be the chief guest,” joint secretary of the Association, Nirdosh Kumar Sharma told SAN.
