| Court frames corruption charges against former official IWDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov:13 (JNF):- Additional Sessions Judge Jammu DC Sagotra has framed corruption charges against Mohinder Lal then Incharge Range Officer IWDP Thadapani Sunderbani and his Associate Kali Dass u/s 5(1) (e) r/w 5(2) of J&K PC Act SVT 2006 and section 109/420/467/468 and 471 RPC r/w section 12/14 Public Men and Public Servant Declaration Assets Act.
According to the VOJ Case Mohinder Lal serving as Range Officer IWDP Thandapani Sunderbani has raised hue assets in the shape of moveable and immovable properties in his name as well as in the name of his close relative. A secret enquiry was conducted and it was found that the accused has assets disproportionate to his known source of income to the tune of Rs 18, 00, 282/- and after completion of the investigation presented challan in the Court of law.
Court after hearing Senior Prosecuting officer Rohit Gupta appearing for the VOJ and gone through the case and challan presented by the VOJ framed charges against Manohar Lal then Rnage Officer Thadapani Sunderbani and Kali Dass. JNF
