| Burnoti villagers protest over water shortage | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Nov 13:The villagers of Block Burnoti staged a protest against the district administration for its failure to provide the daily need based quantity of water through PHE department. The protest was led by the NC youth leader Harpreet Singh Sethi.
The villagers resented over the negligence of the PHE department and district administration for failing to provide adequate drinking water. Later the villagers met with ADDC Kathua who after hearing the problems of water took action to ask the concerned XEN PHE and directed him to solve the problem of water.
The villagers present in the present included Ashwani Sharma, Block VP youth B.B Rinku, Sharma, master Mohan, Amit Sharma, Vishal Sharma, and Rohit Khajuria.
