EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU Nov 13: In connection with Children's Day, Samooh theatre staged a Dogri play "Bawa Jittmal" at Abhinav Theatre. The play has been written by Dr Gyan Singh and directed by Ravinder Sharma while music has been designed by Surinder Singh Manhas. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma was the chief guest whereas Mohan Lal, SP, Rural and Sohail Qazmi, Editor-in-Chief Daily Taskeen presided over. Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Uday Chand, President, Duggar Pradesh Party, Vinod Bhushan, general secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee, Rattan Lal, Provincial President, National Conference, Usha Anand, Principal Environment Education Institute, Suresh Sharma, Principal, S.R.P Model High School and T.R.Sharma, secretary, Jay Kay Women Welfare Society. The prominent personality of the State were also felicitated for their contribution in the field of education and journalism included Dr Roop Lal, Chairperson, Sai Educational Trust, Pradeep Dutta (Bureau Chief My Times) and Vidhi Singh Jamwal, Chairperson, Jamwal Group of Education. Earlier, Dr Sudhir Mahajan welcomed the guests and highlighted the motive behind these performances.
