| DGP flags off Adventure Sports Camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 13: Under Civic Action Mountaineering programme, 30 students drawn from different backward/rural areas were flagged off for Adventure Sports Camp by Director General of Police, .Kuldeep Khoda in an impressive function held here at Balidan Stambh near Bagh-e-Bahu Jammu.
The children’s were drawn form areas of Doda, Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu districts for par participation in Adventure Sports Camp being organized by J&K Police. The camp commenced from November 12 would conclude on November 16.
This education adventurous Sports Camp involves basic mountaineering/trekking /tent pitching skills and other adventurous sports related techniques being conducted at different venues viz Surinsar, Mansar, Chinore, Jhajjar Kotli by experts of mountaineering team of J&K Police.
J&K Police is credited with organizing of regular Civic Action Programmes beneficial to the people of the state belonging to economically, socially, backward and downtrodden societies.
