| Div Com reviews functioning of artificial limb centre | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOV 13-Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting of officers to review the functioning of Artificial Limb Centre at Government Medical College, Jammu.
In the meeting, it was decided that a board will be constituted for management Artificial Limb Centre.
Meanwhile,it was apprised in the meeting that an MOU will be signed between Chairman of the Board and Project Manager, IRCS and Secretary, Regional Red Cross Society. The Indian Red Cross Society is already providing material for Artificial Limb Centre and they will continue their support for next two years after which the centre will be totally taken over by the GMC Jammu.
The Divisional Commissioner also visited in the artificial limb centre to take stock of situation and personally interacted with all the employees working in the Artificial Limb Centre.
Principal, GMC, Jammu, Dr Rajinder, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, Director, Social Welfare, Jammu, Mehmood Rana besides Secretary Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu and President Handicapped Welfare Association were present on the occasion.
