| Baig breaks silence on self rule, owns draft proposal, disowns Mufti's remarks, Says Omer talks frustration | | | Srinagar, November 3: Breaking silence on the controversy over self rule, former Deputy Chief Minister and estranged PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig here on Friday while talking to KNS launched a scathing attack on National Conference President Omer Abduulah and said " I feel sorry for National Conference President who did not succeed in his mission of dethroning PDP and installing a National Conference regime in the state. He tried his best by rallying around Chief Minister Gh Nabi Azad after his take over in November last year, but he was let down and has started a vicious campaign against Chief Minister Gh Nabi Azad". Commenting on Mufti Mohd Sayeed's remarks on the restoration of Yousuf Shah-e-Chak rule in the state , Baig said "I don't know what Mufti Sahib has said, but I assure you that there is no mention about the restoration of Yousuf Shah-e-Chak rule in the draft proposal on self rule".
