Bring Kishtwar on tourist map: JKNPP

Udhampur Nov 14: Reiterating its demand to bring Kishtwar on tourist map, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers party district unit provincial secretary Anil Parihar appealed to the chief minister Omar Abdullah and tourism minister to form a tourist circuit in Kishtwar district connecting Sansari, Sohal and Ahtholi areas to boost tourism in the backward district.
District Gen Secy Om Parkesh Sen also accompanied.
They said that these areas have vast tourism potential and government should bring Kishtwar on the tourist map of the country to attract domestic as well as foreign tourists. He added that thousands of pilgrims from across the country are visiting at holy Machhil temple
They also demanded speeding up pace of work on Machail-Gulabgarh road and Dak Bungalow and tourist huts for Machail pilgrims .
