| Centre, state flayed over delay in opening CU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: EXPRESSING concern over the inordinate delay in opening up of central University at Jammu, chairman of Shiv Sena Hindustan Vipin Hindu criticised centre as well as the state government for deliberately delaying even in appointment of vice chancellor.

Hindu said that there were reputed educationist in University of Jammu who fulfilled all the qualifications to be a vice chancellor which included Prof. R.D.Sharma, Prof. Lokesh Verma, Prof. Ashok Aima, Prof Desh Bandu and so many others. Shiv Sena Hindustan also demanded that no such person should be taken as vice chancellor under political influence or on any other personal ground. They appealed to centre and state Govt. to start central university at Jammu without any delay.
