| Addiction Roller Skating Club won the 3-day Hockey league | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov14: Addiction Roller Hockey Club won the final three day Roller Hockey league match played here at Peerkhoh Skating Instititute by 3-0, defeating Aligarh Muslim University team. The event was organized by Addiction Roller Hockey Club and sponsored by Mr. Raju Saluja (Akash Matty House). Minister for Medical Education, Youth Service and Sports, Mr. R.S. Chib was the chief guest on the occasion.
In Inline Hockey match played between Indiana Roller Skating club V/S Environment Roller Hockey Club, the match was won by Environment Club defeating Indiana Roller Skating Club and secured first place.
In Junior Category, first place was taken by Addiction Roller Hockey Club defeating Roller Athlete Skating Club in a match played in the ground.
In Sub Junior Category first place was taken by YRSC (A) and second place by Blazing Blues and third place to Indiana Club in their respective matches played here.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that it gives me immense pleasure to grace the occasion. He said that he was very pleased with the best performance and sportsmanship of the players of Addiction Roller Skating Club and Roller Athlete Skating Club in the match played and hoped they will continue to perform and will bring laurels for their team and the State in future. He also wished them a good success so that they may compete at National and International sports events.
Mr. Chib appreciated the role of organizer and said that these sports events are encouraging the junior and sub- junior players to participate in big events like Common Wealth and Olympic games. The Minister asked the Association the Department of Youth Services and Sports to sponsor the best players for participation in Ice Hockey at Ladakh.
Latter, the Minister distributed the medals and trophies among the players and winning teams.
