| Woman hit by minibus, dies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: A woman was killed after a minibus hit her at Kotli Charkan in Bishnah area near here today.Police sources said Maya Devi, wife of Sain Dass, was walking by the
roadside at Kotli Charkan when a speeding minibus (JK02AL/7327) hit her as a result of which she sustained critical injuries.She was evacuated by locals to hospital where doctors pronounced her brought dead. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to her family members for last rites.Though police had seized the minibus, its driver was absconding. A police hunt was on to nab him, the sources added.
