| Attack on Mobile Magistrate Kathua | | DB directed Kuldeep Singh and Amrik Singh to furnish cash security | |
Jammu, November, 3:- A Division Bench at of J&K High Court Srinagar Wing comprising Chief Justice B A Khan and Justice Bashir A Kirmani today directed Kuldeep Singh Kingu and Amrik Singh President and Secretary Kathua Truck Union, who were present in the court to furnish cash security in the amount of Rs 35,000/- each before Registrar Judicial Srinagar Wing and also personal bond in the amount of Rs 1 lace each to the satisfaction of Registrar Judicial and undertaking to present themselves before the court on the date.
In compliance to yesterday court order, District Magistrate Kathua, SSP Kathua, IGP and DIG Traffic have appeared before the court. Reply has already been filed by the SSP concerned. Other respondents have prayed for some more time to file their reply, upon this the DB granted 3 days time to them. Kuldeep Singh Kingu and Amrik Singh who were present in the court are to be bound down to ensure attendance before this court and accordingly directed them to furnish cash security.
The Division Bench after hearing Advocate General Mr. A H Naik, AAG Mr. A M Magray and Advocate B A Dar exempted IGP and DIG Traffic from personal appearance, however, directed SSP Traffic Jammu that he shall appear with the report of enquiry. On next date of hearing the Assistant Commissioner Kathua (ADM) who reported to have visited the spot at the relevant time shall also appear before the court in person along with connected record if any, court ordered. |
