Kantilal, Yogesh lead in Chess

JAMMU, November 15: Rajasthan’s Kanti Lal Deve and Yogesh Gautam of Haryana were leading after round five in the ongoing BR Luthra Memorial All India Open prize money Chess Tournament at Luthra College, here today.
Other four competitors, Prince Bajaj (Delhi), Vikas Sharma (Punjab), Mohd Ashraf (Orissa) and Santanu (Assam) were trailing behind with four points while Ritwan Sauntra and Sumit Grover of J&K have secured 3.5 points each.
The Results: Top 10 Tables (Round Five): Prince bajaj drew Kantilal Dave; Yogesh Gautam beat Madhab Sarma; Vikas Sharma beat Himal Gusain; T Nanda drew Rajib Dhar; Md.Ashraf beat Projit Phukon; Santanu beat D K Chopra; Ritwan Sauntra beat Abdus Sidique; Sumit Grover beat Imanjot Singh Deol; Nandan Buragohain beat Akshat Chandra; Munish Gupta drew Arvindu; Maxim Singh drew S S Dave; Anil Tiwari beat Pranav Sharma; Mahasweta Kumar beat Harsh Dev; Malabika Singh beat Dr Naveen Katoch; Rajagopalan beat Khem Singh.
