| Bhalla inaugurates revenue complex at Patnitop | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Nov 15: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla today inaugurated Revenue Complex at Khotri (Patnitop) in Ramban District, build after spending 1.51 crore rupees .
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that all out efforts are being made by the government for the creation of revenue related infrastructure in every nook and corner of the state.
MLA, Ramban, Ashok Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban,. Shabir Ahmed Bhat, besides prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
Regarding the shortage of revenue related staff, the Minister said that the most of the vacant posts of Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars, and patwaris have already been filled up and posted in their respective places, adding, the shortfall especially in case of patwaris would be met out shortly. Bhalla said that computerization of revenue record is under speedy progress.
With the completion of computerized record the people could avail to trace their desired records without any hardship, he said . issuing instructions to the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Bhalla said that pending land acquisition compensation cases should be processed and disposed on priority basis.
Earlier the Minister accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, . Baseer Ahmed Khan visited Kud to inspect the existing unsafe patwarkhana complex.
