| Childrens’ day celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA 15 NOV, The Government Middle School, Chack Kirpa Ram, Kathua organised a colourful cultural programme in its premises to celebrate the children’s day on the birth anniversary of the first prime minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru. The students of the school performed several cultural activities, including patriotic songs, plays, speeches and skits. On the occasion, the Headmistress of the school Anita Gupta appreciated the performance of the children and also paid tributes to the Nehru. Later, the chief guest distributed awards to all the participants and also gave away meritorious certificates to Suman and Razya who got third position in recently held science exhibition in Kathua. In the programme, Neelam Sharma, Rishi Tangri, Deeraj, Sambyal Neeru Malhotra and Rajinder Kumar along with other staff members were present.
