Lecturer’s Forum demands filling up of vacant posts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 15: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has advocated for filling up of vacant posts of lecturers in higher secondary schools across the State. Addressing a district level educational conference at Katra, its district president Verinder Dutta and state president H.D Qureshi have expressed concern over the fate of students in absence of lecturers in various disciplines Giving the details, Qureshi expressed surprise that more then 120 posts of lecturers were lying vacant in 18 higher secondary schools in Reasi district. He appealed the authorities in the Department for immediate filling up of vacant posts of lecturers to enable the students to continue the studies smoothly. Qureshi also expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner/ Secretary to Government School Education Department for announcing laboratory facilities to 300 Hr. Sec Schools in the State which are most essential for studies of students , particularly at Hr. Sec Level. The day long education conference discussed wide ranging areas in the field of education and issues related to regularization of Incharge incumbents, placement in pay band and re- organization of the Department. Others who addressed the Conference include Charan Dass, N.S Jamwal, Ashwani Sharma and Verinder Dutta, besides many others . |
