| VOJ presents challan against Patwari | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, November: 16 (JNF):- Vigilance Organization Jammu today presented a challan against Patwari Halqa Deeli Jawahar Lal who was caught red-handed by the team of VOJ on April 21, 2010 while demanding and accepting Rs 14000/- from complainant Gautam Kumar.
According to VOJ, a written complaint filed by complainant Gautam Kumar S/o Sh Baldev Dass R/o Bhalwal, Jammu alleging therein that Patwari Halqa Deeli Jawahar Lal demanded Rs 20,000 from complainant for making necessary entries in the revenue records for raising loan from Bank. On the demand of said Patwari complainant paid him Rs 6000/- but Patwari issued the revenue documents to him with the condition that he has to pay Rs 14000/- at the time of reflecting final entry in revenue record in favour of bank to facilitate him releasing bank loan. On this complaint VOJ registered a case and constituted a trap and laid a trap in which the said Patwari caught red-handed. After completion of investigation and obtaining the sanction today VOJ presented challan in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu. JNF
