| Zila Sainik Welfare Officer visits Reasi | | | EARLY TIMES
Udhampur Nov 16: Director Sainik Welfare Department, Brigadier RS Langeh along with Lt Col Man Singh Jamwal, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Udhampur, CD Singh, Head Assistant and Sub Jagdev Singh Chib, Welfare Organizer today visited Reasi in connection with welfare activities of Ex-servicemen and widows.
A large number of ESM and widows from far flung areas of Mahore, Kainthi, Arnas, Salal, Ransoo, Bhamble Pouni & Dadowa were present on the occasion. Col Jamwal spoke on various concessions and welfare schemes extended by the Central/State government for the welfare of ESM/Widows.
He apprised them the importance of joint notification for family pension and publication of Part II Orders.
He informed about Prime Minister scholarship schemes for the wards of ESM/widows, daughters marriage grant, demise grant, ADLR scheme, relief to ex-J&K Militia personnel who have discharged at their own request/on medical grounds and to non-pensioners.
He also stressed to become members of ECHS under which complete medical coverage is provided to the pensioners/widows as well as their dependents.
