Jammu, Nov 16: Kashmiri Hindu Conference has raised apprehensions over the security of the candidates recruited under special drive for migrants
In such regard a workers meet of Kashmiri Hindu Conference was held under Chairmanship of M.L. Thusoo. The workers were apprehensive about the security of newly appointed candidates recruited under special drive for migrants. The workers also stressed about the doubtful attitude of the Govt. viz-a-viz the return and rehabilitation of the migrants after two long decades.
Speaking on the occasion P.L. koul Budgamin the Convener elaborated the circumstances that forced K.P. youth to accept adverse and discriminatory service condition to shore lip their falling standard of life though nothing has changed in Kashmir at ground zero for the youth to return, rehabilitation of the community is ludicrous. The Govt. is clandestinely playing a conspiracy in the grab of employment to two thousand seven hundred youth.
K.L. Ganjoo, Vice president, K. Sadhoo, organizer Soom Nath Raina and M.L. Dagtari seconding the factual statement of Mr. Koul added that the Govt. is not scientifically handling the matter and is under estimating the community. They stressed for a fool proof security of these new recruits.
Thusoo Concluding the workers meet said the basic outline for the return and the rehabilitation has been drawn and submitted to the Govt. long before. These include a Satellite township on a stretch of fifty thousand kannals, minority status, constitutional guarantees and reserved seats in local bodies and state legislature In addition to the rehabilitation package.
“We well advise the Govt. that a situation of security should improve at ground zero and trust deficit between communities is bridged. This time Govt. should make fool proof arrangements for the security for these newly recruits. The process of return and rehabilitation are faroff issues. False prestige ambitions for the Govt. will be counter productive and even suicidal,” president added.
