| Romeo Force distributes woollen clothes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16:A Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Sector Rashtriya Rifles and Romeo Force distributed winter articles (sweater, inners and shoes) to 50 girl students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Thanamandi. These girls belong to poor families living below the poverty line. Due to non availability of woollens, these girls were missing School and education during peak winters. Provisioning of winter articles will ensure uninterrupted attendance of girl students throughout the year including peak winters and eventually ensure women upliftment and empowerment, a dream project of the Government of India.
The winter articles were distributed to girl students by Deputy Commander, Sector Rashtriya Rifles amidst a gathering of over 300 comprising of students, teachers and parents.
